I can't send emails from my iphone 5s.

I can't send emails from my iphone 5s.  I have tried the different server settings.  Is it the case that this is a technical fault that virgin needs to sort out?  I no longer get an error message, they appear sent, but the emails do not arrive at their destination.  I have tried this test by sending an email to myself.

 

I have no problems receiving emails.

Sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with email on your iPhone 5s.

 

We currently don't have any reports of any technical issues with emails at the moment.

 

I'd like to help you out with this.

 

I would recommend removing the account on then adding it back if this hasn't already been done. 

 

Is this a Virgin email address? if so do you use it on other devices and are they able to use this email address without any issues.

 

I've included a link to our handset guide here which will have an email walk through that might help.

Have you tried deleting the account & recreating it manually?

Are you using the virginmedia.com servers incl SSL  the correct ports?
