How do i stop premium texts from 700046067? These cost £4.50 to receive, even if you don't open them

How can i stop receiving premium texts from 700046067? These cost £4.50 each to receive, even if you don't open them. I made the mistake of signing up for internet offers and this is proving very costly.

Assuming there were no cancellation instructions when you signed up or in the texts themselves, you should first try replying with STOP, STOP ALL and STOPALL.

Sorry for the extra reply- can't edit posts on a mobile.

The next step if the above doesn't work is to text the offending number to 7726 (it's free). You then receive instructions on what to do next, but I gather that it involves forwarding the offending text to them.

Hi hevs58,

Welcome to the community and thanks for posting.

I'm terribly sorry you're receiving these premium text messages. These are clearly a massive convenience especially at £4.50 a time.

I can see Gorf has provided you with some great advice already.

When you receive a text next time, open it and you may see a 5 digit short code number which'll allow you to opt-out of the service. Don't click on any links.

Please keep me posted on the update.

Thanks
