like others on here i have the same problem. I have a house in Spain and never had this problem before. However as I signed up for a travel pass this time I think that this has buggered up my ability to make calls. Yes it was over 24 hours ago and yes I have turned my mobile off many times. No I have not taken the battery out of my iPhone 4s (try doing that without the right tools) and I pay monthly.

If roaming is switched on both your account and phone. You probably need your sim reset by Virgin. I'm in France with the same problem worked last trip but not this one. Service is not really up to dealing with this problem. I will leave Virgin Mobile when I get back because of it.
