Am currently abroad and my virgin mobile phone can't find any network.
It was working fine for many days then suddenly switched to "no service" one evening.
My roaming is switched on so not that.
Have taken out SIM and tried it in an old virgin mobile phone I have with me - same problem - no network found.
So could it be the SIM? Have had it for many years and it has a few lines on it.
(the list of contacts comes up ok on both phones from the SIM - so not entirely sure it is that either).
If I do need a new SIM, can these be delivered to an address abroad? Or will I have to wait till I get home to pick it up?
(And can the new SIM be activated when abroad - or do you have to be in the UK?)
Also, if a new SIM is sent out and but doesn't get activated till a week or two later, is that ok?
Hope someone can help

hi levante1996If the sim has worked abroad previously then roaming would be activated .If you have tried to connect to other networks in Spain then im not sure what this could be .Are you sure your services are active and not suspended? You would need to ask one of the forum team to have a look for you.
Also Virgin would only post SIMS to the UK only.
Thanks for your reply.
As far as I'm aware my service is active. On my account page online everything seems to be fine.
I will ring Virgin Mobile later on anyway to check.
If I have to go back to the UK to sort things out, is it possible to pick up a new SIM in store, rather than waiting for it to come in the post?
And what about if the problem is my phone. Is it possible to pick up a new phone in store or would I have to get it online and get it delivered?
(I do Pay as You go by direct debit.)
once you are back in the UK it would indeed be possible to select a new phone in store.
They would also be able to advise you & help you choose.
If you do need a new SIM you could also pick one up from there and they could activate it for you.
