Galaxy Note 4 Upgrade

I am getting seriously annoyed with my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 crashing all the damn time.

Since I received the upgrade to Lollipop, the phone has become extremely sluggish and constantly crashing out. Seriously not impressed.

The phone is no longer fit for purpose.

Re: Galaxy Note 4 Upgrade

Hi Jonpwatson5,

Thanks for posting Smiley Happy

I'm really sorry that you're having some trouble with the Note 4 since the upgrade. I want to get this sorted for you. Are you able to perform a soft reboot on the phone by holding the power button down and tapping the restart option?

Give this a go and let me know how you get on.

Thanks,

Mat

Re: Galaxy Note 4 Upgrade

Hi Mat,

I have tried stuff like that already, but still have nothing but problems.

I used to work in a mobile phone repair centre, so I know stuff like this. It's a shame the software is the problem and it's full of loads of bugs.

Re: Galaxy Note 4 Upgrade

lollipop on note 4 is fine for most other people. Id try reinstalling the firmware via odin mode first, most likely fix it. something im sure you know how to do easy from your background

Re: Galaxy Note 4 Upgrade

Hi Jonpwatson5,

Thanks for your reply Smiley Happy

Are you able to factory reset your phone to see if this helps?

Before doing this I'd advise to back up with Samsung kies here.

Once this is done, you can factory reset the phone by going to Settings > Backup and Reset > Factory data reset.

Give this a go and let me know how you get on.

Thanks,

Mat
