First Mobile Bill

I signed up to Virgin Mobile a couple of days ago. However, today i received my first bill for the monthly amount for "the period up to 19th July".

Is this a charge for signing up?

The way the bill reads it seems that i am being charged for a month of services that i haven't used as i was still with my old provider during this time.

Any ideas?

Re: First Mobile Bill

Hi Heatley-93,

there is no charge for signing up.

It's normal to be billed within the early days of your contract as this is to cover the tariff charge for month ahead.

About your bill > When do I get my bill?

"You'll get your very first bill in the first week of your contract. It'll include your first monthly charge, as well as all your call details up to the billing date. From then on, we'll send you your bill on the same date every month."

Re: First Mobile Bill

Hi Heatley-93,

each month your bill will cover any out of tariff usage from the last bill date to the current bill date + your chosen tariff for the month ahead (in advance).
