Faulty (few days old) mobile

My few days old Sony Experia is faulty and Virgin saying I have to pay! My new mobile had a gel cover and tempered glass screen protector. Virgin saying under screen has cracked and has moisture damage, apparently I must have dropped it and used in the rain (to quote what was said). I said that I had dropped it in the footwell in my car. How, considering my gel cover and tempered glass, could a new phone be cracked on bottom layered glass and get water damage? My previous phone was samsung s5, had it for 2 years, never a problem.

Re: Faulty (few days old) mobile

Hi 20johnson06,

I'm sorry to hear that your phone repair has been rejected by our repair centre due to damage on the handset.

If you disagree with the conclusion of our repair centre, you do have the option of seeking a second opinion from the manufacturer directly.

You can find Sony's contact details here: http://support.sonymobile.com/gb/contactUs/

Kind regards,

Terri
