The alacatel tablet that came as a gift with new contract 3 months ago is faulty. I contacted Virgin but they said I must resolve directly with the manufacturer and would have to cover any costs involved. Is this true?
I've checked into this and I can confirm your best bet would be to contact Alcatel directly regarding this fault so they can assist with this, however you should not incur any costs as the tablet is within warranty. With this in mind, Alcatel should get this fixed or replaced for you at their cost (so long as the warranty hasn't been made void due to any physical or liquid damage to the device).
You should find all their contact details contained within the documentation in the box, but you can also contact them here.
Please let us know how you get on with this.
