your monthly payment will continue until you request to change, even once your contract period is over.
Therefore you need to contact the Virgin mobile team on 789 or the Retentions team direct on 0800 183 1150, 30 days before your contract expiry date & sort yourself out with the best deal they can offer.

Thanks for the reply. From what you say I assume if I just leave things as they are my contract will just turn into a month by month deal with 30 day termination, and my unlimited calls, text and data will just carry on.
Sorry to sound vague but this is / was my first contract.
