EE wifi siganals

When out the house in Johnstone (PA5) or in Glasgow when going to and from work or out at lunchtime, when I am trying to get my Galaxy S6 to connect and it doesn't, I have a look at the connections list and I never see EE on that list? I see Sky and other wifi signal logos with locks on them, but never an EE logo .. what does the wifi logo connection look like? and the working or numbering ?  as i said I even see Sky wifi logos, I would take it that the EE wifi logo will say EE? yes no

Are EE not supposed to be what my S6 connects to with a VM MB contract

Re: EE wifi siganals

You are with Virgin, not EE, so you will not be able to hook up to EE WiFi, even if it was available.

VM WiFi Hotspots are nothing to do with EE. The partnership with EE is for Mobile 2G/3G connections only.

To connect to VM Hotspots, you need the WiFi Buddy app.
