I have a Samsung S3 mobile which needs a new SIM I wonder whether the SmartCall app would work with it or not.

That's a good question!
You should have no issue using the Smartcall app with your phone as long as you have a Virgin Landline.
Are you able to try and download the app now to see if this will work?
