Data Allowance

I have started my contract on may 2016 on a Virgin mobile;

250 minutes + 500MB Data and 30 day rolling contract with Data Allowance of 500.00 MB

I do not have internet anymore, my refresher date is on 18th of each month and today is 27 and I haven't used outside my house or free WiFi areas  and I have "Zero" Remaining on my account.

What can I do?

£5.00

Re: Data Allowance

Hi janne123,

so you don't think your mobile data allowance refreshed this month?

You need to call customer services (free) on 789 from your mobile so that they can look into this for you.

If it failed to refresh they will be able to manually add the data for you.

Re: Data Allowance

500mb is not a lot, automatic updates and facebook updates can eat that as well as checking for emails and stuff, there is a daily charge for going over despite how little, I'd stop the mobile date setting on the phone until it refreshes, and only use wifi for now

Re: Data Allowance

Further to John's answer, your handset will turn off WiFi after a short time in standby. Any data that's needed by background processes during this time (such as program updates) will come out of your mobile data.

Re: Data Allowance

Gorf that may be handset/settings dependant, all the HTC phones in the house don't drop off, iPhones don't
