Changing phone in account

I have just bought a new phone and received a new micro simcard from Virgin Mobile UK to fit it.

But my account stillshows my old phone make and IMEI.

How can I contact or change my account to reflect my new device ?

I am currently in Canada so don't want to have phone to get this changed.

From what I am aware, it will only let you set it to the phone type if you bought the phone of VM. If you bought it elsewhere, it's not an option anymore (to set a non-VM purchased phone as the phone type associated with the number.) So - did you buy the new phone from VM or from somewhere else?

No, I bought the first one from Virgin, but this one from elsewhere, so I understand your point.
