Because I am having terrible trouble with wanting to use my mobile phone abroad I want to change to pay as you go, how do I do it?
you don't say what your current plan is.
Have you got a 30 day rolling SIM only contract?
If so you just need to call customer services on 789 (if you are in the UK) and give 30 days notice of cancellation.
Your SIM will become PAYG at the end of your term.

I've no idea why you think that will help, it's the sim that's linked to your Virgin contract, the phone will accept any Virgin sim payg or contract.
If you are on a 30 day sim only call 789 and stop it, it you are on a fixed term contract you would need to pay it off. International roaming failures are not enough to cancel a contract.
please don't duplicate posts on this forum (it becomes confusing and is against the forum guidelines).
I've therefore removed your other post for you.
You don't say whether you are currently in the UK or abroad.
What trouble are you having? Might it be solved?
In what way do you expect becoming PAYG to help with this "trouble"?
