Capping data allowance

Hi. Is it possible to cap somewhere the amount of data allowance used on a account. My son has the 2500mins + 1Gb Data - 30 day contract however the first 2 months we are already seeing his data use go over and as such costing more than budgeted for. I have applied phone settings to cap data and block as it encroaches on the 1Gb limit but I would rather set this to auto cut off through virgin when reached rather than it continue to tick on and on.

Possible and if so can someone point me in the correct direction to get it set.

Thanks.

Re: Capping data allowance

Hi markdavies120,

I'm afraid that Virgin Mobile don't cap accounts.

However, I notice that they've just increased their data allowances on pay monthly SIM only plans.

It might be worth giving them a call to get the increased allowance then hopefully it'll last your son Smiley Happy

I wonder if the 3.5gig speed capping still applies to the Sims with 5 & 10gig ?
