Cannot connect / setup voicemail

I tried activating voicemail however when I press and hold 1 it just says "sorry but your call cannot be connect at this time". I have also dialled 222.

I have read that it would automatically setup once you have made a first call, which I already have.

I must admit no instructions or advice came with the sim on how to setup a voicemail and I was left to my own accord to work it out and look alone!

 

Any help will be kindly appreciated.

Hi mrgrey1,

 

as dialing 222 hasn't been effective, I would call customer services (free on 789 from your mobile) and ask them to reset your voicemail.

Voicemail can also be turned on and off in your account:

Log in to your account > click on  the "Plan and device" tab > "Manage my services" > Voicemail ON/OFF
(click on the other side of the rectangle box to alter switch).
