Cancelling service - intentionally inconvenient?

Does it annoy you how Virgin make it easy to spend money (increase contract) online, no problem - very frictionless. But to cancel a contract, well - you need to ring at a specific time (no weekends etc.) to a dedicated cancellation "team" that will no doubt try all sorts of tricks to get me to keep the service.

I just want to cancel, Virgin. I should be at the very least be able to order that online - even if your magic team do whatever they need after - I just don't have time to be making calls to you & sitting in a phone queue in my working week.

Re: Cancelling service - intentionally inconvenient?

hi filmackay,

unfortunately that's just the way it is Smiley Indifferent

Notice of cancellation must be given either by calling and speaking to a member of the Team:

789 / 0345 6000 789 > Mon-Fri 8am-8pm, Sat 9am-5pm, Sunday Closed.

Or given in writing:

Virgin Media
PO Box 333
Matrix Court
Swansea
SA7 9ZJ

Please be clear of your intent and include all your details.
(Notice can only be taken from the date of receipt).
