Cancelling phone contract

My mobile phone contact says 30 day rolling contract. Does this mean I can cancel my phone or am I still tied into a contract?

Re: Cancelling phone contract

Hi Bex1985,

if it is a 30 day rolling SIM only contract that you have, then yes you can cancel with 30 days notice.

If your contract with Virgin is also for a mobile phone handset. Then you cannot cancel your SIM without first paying off any outstanding balance on your handset loan.

Re: Cancelling phone contract

So does this mean I can pay off the remainder of the handset then cancel it? Thank you for your help.

Re: Cancelling phone contract

Hi bex1985,

yes, if you pay off any outstanding balance owed on the handset, then you are free to give notice of cancellation on your SIM.

Call the Team (free call 789 from a Virgin mobile) and they will put you in touch with the appropriate department if you wish to do this.
