Cancellation help please

Hi my 24 month mobile contract expired today 6 december - called 23 nov and advised as they couldn't match deal offered elsewhere i wouldnt renew. Told no further action required by me - contract would terminate 6 dec. Woke up today 6 dec to a text from virgin renewing my allowance for further month tried to call but cancellations dont open on a Sunday! Asked to speak to manger - after 20 min wait no one available? ! Help please

Your contract has terminated (Not disconnected) and you have been placed on whats known as a monthly rolling contract. Telling them you are not going to renew is not enough. You need to tell them that you wish for your service to be disconnected at the end of the contract term.

Another way to end the service is to port the number to another provider.

Also as per the contract you need to give 30 days notice to terminate.
