Can I continue my PayMonthly to a new phone?

I'll keep this short.

I am going to buy an Samsung S7 edge (no contract)

Will I be able to use my Pay Monthly sim with this phone?

Does VM send microSD?

I see in my 'Change Plan' section that there is a unlimited data for £10, will this work?

Hi Lee99,

 

you are free to move your Virgin pay monthly SIM into another device.

If your new phone requires a different size SIM, that's not a problem. Give the Virgin mobile team a call on 789 from your mobile or 0345 6000 789 from any other phone & request a new SIM.

Tell them that you need to change size and ask for a new "multi SIM" then you can just pop it out to the size you need.

 

If your account is showing a plan available for you then you are free to move to it.

Be aware though of Virgin's "acceptable use policy" regarding mobile data.

Once you have used 3.5GB (or only 2GB for customers who joined before 25 June 2012) the service becomes throttled by Virgin until the end of the calendar month:
