BT Sport over 3G

Having been bombarded by mail drops and email to move from PAYG to a data plan contract with Virgin Mobile on my iPhone 6+ I finally succumbed as I wanted to be able to watch the football while out and about.

However, when I try to watch TV Anywhere and BT sport it says "This channel is not available for streaming on this network type'. It works fine on WiFi.

Sky sports works fine via the sky sports app over 3G so why doesn't BT Sports work? How can I get BT Sport to work over 3G?

Thank you.

Re: BT Sport over 3G

TV anywhere only works over wifi not mobile data
Sky does, there are lots of posts around this issue on the tv forum

Re: BT Sport over 3G

Do BT Sports have an app like Sky Sports?

If so, can I login to that with my virgin details like I can to the sky app?

Will that allow me to watch BT Sports over 3G on my phone?

Thanks.

Re: BT Sport over 3G

1: Yes BT sport does have a app.

2: NO you can't login with your Virgin details :-(

3: N/A after the fail at #2.
