Accepted for mobile phone ?

Hi how do I know if I've been accepted for mobile phone ? I've recieved "welcome to the gang but then saying there's a technical error

your best course of action would be to call customer services on 0345 6000 789 and ask about your order.

Or if you wait, this post may get responded to by one of the Virgin team on this forum but that could take a while.
