Getting unwanted calls on my mobile (I don't answer them) then silent voicemail messages.

Have researched and it would appear that this is from Virgin marketing.

How do I put a stop to these calls.

Thanks

Re: +8004089341

Ring any of the following numbers and ask to be opted out of it: 150 or 789 or 0345 600 0789. The optout takes six weeks to complete and will opt you out of mail and email marketing shots too.

Or you can choose to wait, a member of the favicon.png Forum Team here will get around to picking up on your topic and do the optout for you.

I'm getting these annoying calls as well.  Why do VM want to antagonise their customers?  Please get them to stop before I go elsewhere.

Hi jvf1,

they are not trying to antagonise their customers. They are just trying to offer / sell you a deal which they hope you may be interested in.

You can opt out of marketing by calling in on one of the numbers Shelke provided (free from a Virgin phone on 150 or 789) and request to do so.

Re: +8004089341

I've tried 150 & 789 but there are so many combinations of numbers it's very confusing to get to speak to a human being.  Maybe something else VM should be considering.

My phone isn't smart enough for that.

Re: +8004089341

I'm sorry, but no. Calling me four times a day, only for me to pick up and no-one be there is not them trying to give me offers. It's them antagonising me. VM are by far the worst for marketing calls out of any company I have been with. They are RELENTLESS. I get calls between 6am to as late as 9pm. It's an actual living hell.

I've reported them to telemarketing standards numerous times now. Nothing has been done about it. I urge people do this anyway. Hopefully something will become of it. Please look this up and report the number, and company calling.

That won't fix your problem. I'm getting the same from Vodafone and Three.
