Im an existing customer and upgraded my pay monthly device back in July to a Galaxy S7. I just wanted to check whether I would need a new sim if I wanted to change to 4G services. Are all sims pre-November '16 3G enabled only?
changing to one of the new 4G tariffs will automatically issue you a replacement SIM.

Thanks, but out of curiousity do you know if previous sims are purely 3G only?
