0800 and 0808 numbers free on mobile - does this mean tariff reduction?
I am currently on the VIP tariff on my mobile, which includes unlimited free calls to 0800, 0808, 0845, 0870 numbers. I received a text from Virgin advising that from July 2015 any calls made to 0800 and 0808 numbers from a mobile are free. Does this mean that everybody who has these numbers included on their tariff, will have their monthly tariff cost reduced? Why would you pay extra, when the service you are paying extra for, is free to everyone?
