07452 9 number

Having had a great answer as to call barred on 07452 numbers, I contacted customer services and am now even more confused. Although number I am trying to call is Registered to Three the only suggestion to allow calls is to remove International call barring but they didn't know if I would then be charged for international call. Strange thing is texts to this number are included in my free texts so how can it be UK for tots but not for calls.

Any idea how to solve without being stung for charges I can't afford?

Re: 07452 9 number

I posted on this the other day to another enquirer.

Most 07452 numbers are registered to Manx Telecom.

However the final few in the series including 07452 9 are Three.

I suspect Virgin have mapped the whole series as Manx Telecom.

Check you are not getting charge for texts (if you have inclusive texts) as they could be deemed calls to another country

Stupid, I know, but Virgin aren't always the sharpest pencil in the pack

Re: 07452 9 number

Hi Thanks again, It was your helpful reply I referred to. I gave Virgin customer services the information you gave me but even after 25 minutes of going it over and over they still could only come up with "turn off international call barring" and "don't know" when asked if I would be charged.

Was just hoping someone had been in same situation and found an answer.
