tivo box wirelessly

Hi

Is it possible to connect the tivo box using a wireless adapter such as wnce2001 or wnce3001 rather than using powerline adapters. Getting a second tivo box and hub 3 installed but router is in different part of house. Already get decent wifi in the room that the tivo is going in so should be no problems there with the hub3

Re: tivo box wirelessly

As long as it operates as a layer 3 device it should be fine-a quick google says it does but I haven't gone in depth

Standard hobbyist advice applies- buy it off somewhere with a decent returns policy. But its an embedded linux server with Wi-Fi functionality, should be fine.

Yes, I have used a Netgear WNCE2001 to successfully connect TiVo to Superhub wirelessly.

You can use the USB on TiVo to power the device.
