not recording full episode

Wonder if anyone can help.ive been recording the four in a bed episodes on ch4 for about a week now..there are 5 episodes each day.the first four record fine but when it gets to the last episode it tells me its 35mins but theres only about 5 mins recorded and it goes back to the start after these five mins? Really annoying as this is the episode you find out the winner?

Look in your recording hiccoughs to see what's happened

Thankyou.didnt even know that exsisted.ive looked and it just says "partial" ?

That's not entirely helpful! Mm. Well could be a number of things. Power cut? Low or no signal on box? Dodgy cable in back of TiVo? 

My bet would be a signal issue for which you'll need to phone in.

I will give them a call thankyou..it was just strange that its been the same last episode everyday for a week and it stops at the same time too.

Welcome to the forum community Smiley Happy

 

I'm sorry to hear that the last episode of the day of Four in a Bed isn't recording fully for you.  I'll be happy to help check this out with you.

 

I have taken a look at your box remotely and all looks great signal and power level wise.  I would like to ask, do you have any other recordings set to start around the time of the last episode?  I am thinking maybe a clash has occurred possibly?

 

If not, let me know and I can help further.  I will setup a series link on the office TV here to see if I can try and replicate the same issue.

No i thought maybe that was the issue too but they were no other recordings at the same time.x

In that case I will see how my test in the office turns out and get back to you with an update.  

 

In the meantime, if you have a series link setup, try deleting it and setting in up again to see if this helps and let me know if this improves the issue.

 

I'll be in touch tomorrow after the test has been done.

I deleted the link and for the first day i set up the new link it recorded the whole last episode but now its back to only recording the start.

Thanks for trying that out for me and I'm sorry that it still hasn't resolved the issue.  

 

I have taken a look at the test I did in the office and it looks like we had a fault of our own box and the box got cleared so I will attempt to repeat this test again this week.  I'm sorry that I don't have an update for you right now, I'll will try again and report back when this has been done.
