The BBC have decided to develop an app for the TiVO that accesses iPlayer via their own web portal. For all other catch-up services, the programmes are provided to Virgin for upload onto their own linear streaming servers. For this reason, what is on offer on the web based services of the other channels, & what is available on Virgin will always differ.
