Re: home connectivity

You can but do you actually know what additional function this gives you?

You would need to purchase a universal wifi adapter such as the Netgear WNCE2001. This is connected to TiVo's Ethernet port and takes its power from TiVo's USB port.

Re: home connectivity

Thanks for that. -  What I am trying to do is to be able to use Virgin TV any where. I am unable to get  this at the moment as  the hub and the tivo are in separate rooms, The  instructions state that a connection must be made between the two. They suggest that either a signal via powerline or by wifi, so I thought I would try the wifi option first

Re: home connectivity

The vast majority of TV Anywhere function is available without making this connection.

You can stream channels without the connection.

You can manage your TiVo without the connection.

The main function which the connection gives you is to use the TV Anywhere app as a replacement for your physical TiVo remote.
