faulty playback on recordings

Hi,

 

We have a less than 1 month old new Tivo 1tb box.  For the first 2 weeks it seemed ok, but now when we play back recordings the sound can go, the picture freezes and distorts - this can happen as often as every 10 minutes or as infrequent as every 30/40 minutes.

 

Means we cannot really watch any recorded programmes now as we just lose too much and gets too interrupted.

 

Can you help please

That sounds like a potentially dead/dying HDD within the box.

Give them a ring to get someone to look at it remotely.
