Sorry to hear you're having trouble with your TiVo®. I've located your account and run some checks. It's all looking good from this end! Are you still getting the error on screen or has it cleared?
Also, here's a little trick you can try to clear the background data on the TiVo® and help to speed it up. Go to the Home screen on the TiVo® and press Thumbs Down, Thumbs Up, Play, Play. You'll hear a 'ping' noise and the screen will go black.

Well tried your tip and it worked for all of 5 mins but then catch up didn't work,it did not record my shows neither,decided to give up and go to bed,it's now 10.45 pm next day and its worse than ever,,,,yours disgruntled ex sky subscriber
