Re: connecting tivo box in bedroom

Your 'spare' TiVo can't be added.

If you want a second one, you will need to order a new one, or a V6, and pay the additional monthly charges and one-off charges.

Re: connecting tivo box in bedroom

You will need an engineer visit to install the correct cabling & splitters, & to adjust the signal levels. This is not a DIY job as VM use specialised cable & splitters. The whole system has to be immune to interference from terrestrial TV & DAB radio broadcasts which re-use same frequencies as those used by TV & Broadband on cable. Also adding further cable & splitters will unbalance the levels in your installation, & these must be adjusted in the street cabinet outside.

When you closed your previous account the serial numbers of the equipment are wiped off the system, & will not be reinstated until the equipment has gone through the shop for refurbishment, so the kit you have kept hold of is effectively useless.
