YouTube

I keep experiencing problems on watching the YouTube channel from my Tivo Box.

The picture/sound keeps freezing momentarily approx every 20 - 30 seconds which is very annoying especially when watching music videos.

Is there a known cause for this and more important can it be fixed?

Yea Mate, I have had the same issue when trying to watch music videos for a couple of weeks. I don't know if there is a fix ,I've seen lots of posts about this happening .It's Rubbish

I have exctly same problem on watching music videos it really annoying. I have 2 tivo boxes and both act the same. Someone need to provide a solution my postcode is CB4

I'm having exactly the same problem!
Netflix is fine on TiVo, YouTube is fine on the iPad.
But lagging every 20 seconds is infuriating.
Hopefully someone knows how to fix it, or I might have to get a different set top box.

I note your comments but looking through the Virgin Media Community, I have found this problem of stuttering YouTube reported  a number of times as far back to July 2015 with a reply from Virgin Media the problem has been identified.  It is now April 2017 and still the problem exists. Perhaps if customers of Virgin Media demanded a rebate on monthly fees due to not receiving the complete package, something may be done.

Could someone at Virgin Media please get their act together and solve the problem.

As Josh_RW has mentioned this is a known issue that's being investigated (NKE00009132), unfortunately I don't have an estimated fix time at the moment.

Could you please what is happening on the you tube stuttering problem.

You advised a month ago that is was a known issue and that it is being investigated (NKE00009132). To date the problem is still there.

I suppose the next move will be a new investigation issue number and so we go on and on without the problem being resolved.

It is a pity that faults cannot be resolved as quick as the Virgin Community Forum gives out medals!

I will persist in getting this problem resolved.

Just do not fob people of with the excuses that it is being investigated.

The problem has been going on far too long.
