My neighbour who just watches freeview picks this channel up in this area but us Virgin subscribers who pay for their service can't access this channel. If they can pick it up with no problem why an,t I do the same. I would switch over to freeview but I don,t have a standard ariel.
London Live only has a licence to operate inside the M25 boundry, so only Virgin's London Headends can carry the service. Freeview will always have some "overspill" reception, so if you can get it on that consider yourself lucky. A Local service licence has been awarded for the Berkshire/Reading area, so you may see this appear on 159 when services are launched, as your local headend will be in the target service area.
Noddie did an excellent piece of research for you. That baton has been picked up by ThatsTV and ThatsBerkshire is "coming soon". That'll be over Freeview from Hannington and I donb't know what VM will do - most likely offer it.
Btw, I regret having taken down my London pointing aerial (I kept the Hannington one) as I too would have liked to watch London 159. I live in the Wokingham area too.
