Very slow on-demand

Hi,

 

I don't use on-demand very much, mainly because when I do I find I want to throw the Tivo out the window.

 

Can someone please test my box, local contention etc to see if there's something that can be done or it's just the Tivo generally not being very good at this part of its job.
