Tv anywhere password rejected and Tivo slow

I have been trying to use tv anywhere on my android tablet but it keeps rejecting my password which is i have checked is correct and my tivo box is also very sluggish sometimes

please help

Thank you for your post, welcome back Smiley Happy

I'm sorry to read about the app. Whenever there are issue it's best to carry out some of the following practices:-

  • Sign out and sign back in, after clearing your cache/temp files. Make sure when signing in anywhere, that the caps lock is monitored and the username and password are typed correctly.
  • Can you sign into anywhere.virginmedia.com?
  • Reinstall the app itself, after clearing cache and cookies.
  • Try to log in online from a PC to see if it streams.
  • Check that your device OS hasn't been changed recently, for example, Android 6.0.1 is unsupported.

I was able to log in online with my password but not on the app. Anyway its just started working now so it must have been a fault your end cos i did nothing. I cant stream from Tivo with my PC cos I use Ubuntu linux and you dont support desktop linux, just android which is a different linux for mobiles. Tivo is still a bit slow in te menus sometimes.

Thank you for coming back to let me know how you got on Smiley Happy

 

The online sign in  has something to do with it, sometimes doing this pushes the app to recognise the details given.

 

I'm really glad that you've been able to get on the app now. I know that there will be moments of slowness on the TiVo right now as it's something we're aware of and working to resolve soon.
