I have Tivo in the living room with a Hisense H40M3300 TV.

None of the Hisense codes work to set this up

Can't work out how to set this up

Think I may be missing something really obvoius.

Any ideas gratefully received .

Re: Trying to programme 2 Tivo remotes for 2 dieerent makes of TV

Hi az156,

Thanks for posting!

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with the remote control setup.

There's a great Remote Control Setup Guide on our help site. Usually, if the code still doesn't work after a few tries then the TV model isn't compatible.

Can you give me a little more details about the setup you have and I'll see if there's anything else we're missing.

Look forward to hearing from you!  Smiley Very Happy

Thanks for the reply

I have a Hisense H40M3300 in the living room> None of the codes seem to work with this model. ; (

JVC TV in the kitchen

JVC TV in the bedroom. This is the one I want to programme the second Tivo remote to.

Both JVCs are connected to Tivo by Scart > RF Modulator > coax to Booster > coax to both TVs

Re: Trying to programme 2 Tivo remotes for 2 dieerent makes of TV

Hi az156,

Thanks for the response!

Have you tried programing the remote control to the TV without the RF modulator connected? I just want to make sure we remove anything that could be interfering with the setup.

Sadly, some models of TV just won't work with our remote controls. It's typically the more obscure models of TV that struggle. Don't lose heart though! We get new codes from manufacturers all the time so keep checking the codes list for updates.

Look forward to hearing from you!  Smiley Very Happy
