I've been having a similar problem. I just received the box this morning and it is clearly faulty. It loops through the update screen for about 45 mins, then all the lights turn red and the box dies.
I've spoken to customer service several times and they've been worse than useless. Other than getting me to switch it off and on again, I was promised call backs that never materialised and told to "keep trying". I have eventually been told that the box is probably faulty but that they can't send me a new one. Instead I need to take another day off work so they can send an engineer, who will replace it with a new one!
I am apparently going to receive a call from a manager tomorrow, but I'm nt holding my breath. Dreadful experience!
