We've been having issues with recordings keep freezing over the last few days. There is no issue with live TV at all. Have restarted the box each time over the last 3 days & we're still having the same issue. If it's a hard drive issue this will be our 3rd box in just over 12 months, Or has anyone else had similar issues which are easy to resolve.
Just an update, when the kids got up this morning to watch tv before school, the box reset itself. The wife has just tried watching a recording from yesterday & we're still having the same issue with freezing. So theres no point in trying to record anything
We had the same issue back in December, ended up being a hard disk error, they sent a new box in the post, but that arrived faulty, so ended up with a decent engineer with yet another box, which seems to be ok. Clearly Virgin have some quality issues with their TiVo box!
Totally agree about their quility, this will be our 3rd box in a little over 12 months each one has been a hard drive fault. Yet the original Tivo box we had lasted years, The hard drives must have fell off the back of a wagon & Virgin snapped them up. Shocking really considering the amount we all pay every month
