Tivo not recording when box on Standby

I recently reported a problem via phone,  where my TiVo box was not recording programmes when I had my box on standby eg I was going out.  I was informed this was a Service fault, not one with my individual box, and Virgin were aware of the situation, but were still investigating the cause.  I was advised to keep my box ON at all times if I had any pre-planned recordings instead. 

Just wondering anything has been done to solve this?

Your box should have received an update that fixed this issue, so you can put the box back into standby without it affecting your recordings.

Sorry for the trouble this has caused.

As BenMcr has said, we've already rolled out an update to resolve this issue. Try recording something while the TiVo® is in standby and let me know if you get any problems.
