I'm sorry to hear that your TiVo® isn't showing all the TV Guide info for you. I will be happy to help check this out for you.
Have you tried doing a service connection? If you haven't already, the follow these steps:
HOME > HELP & SETTINGS > SETTINGS > NETWORKS > CONNECT TO VIRGIN SERVICE NOW.
Give this a bash and see how it goes, this should allow the box to fully update. If it fails, let me know at what stage it fails at and I can help further.

I had the same error message but I do not understand as the box was never connected to the internet and now I cannot get access to TV guide or recording, as it is not connected to the internet.
I am pretty sure we should be able to use TiVo without internet connection, or am I missing something ?
TiVo has it's own internet connection independent of any internet service you have. In fact, you can have a working TiVo without any internet service from any provider.
You should reset your TiVo to see if this resolves your issues, having tried the network connection detailed above.
