My Tivo box has become so slow recently and it wasn't until I came onto the forum that realised I was not alone so can I add my voice to the hundreds of others and ask the question, when is this issue going to be addressed by VM?
It's being addressed. See the top of the board 'slow TiVo'. Trouble is they're obviously having issues resolving the problem. I wouldn't hold your breath.

The slow TiVo is something that we are aware of and are working t resolve this as soon as possible.
I have tested the services and it's looking well, which is good news. In the meantime, can you please try this.
