Tivo box so slow to browse TV guide

I'm at the point of either throwing my Tivo box out of the window or going back to Sky. My box is just so slow going through the channels. It can take around 10 seconds after pressing home button to anything actually appearing on the screen.

Is this normal, if so it's a disgrace in my opinion. I'm paying a fortune to use a product not for purpose.

An update is being rolled out during the course of this month that should resolve the firmware related slowness issues.

Your box should update to the following Versions shortly:

For a Cisco box it's: 20.5.7.RC24-VMC-2-C00.

For a Samsung box it's 20.5.7.RC24-VMS-2-C8A.

I hope you're right as if nothing improves over the next few weeks I will be moving back to Sky for TV and keep Virgin for broadband. Thanks for the update.
