Tivo box slow/not responding properly after 8pm at night it is fine during the day

Tivo box slow/not responding properly after 8pm at night it is fine during the day is there any answer to this or do I have to get an engineer in to fix it?

Mm. It's probably over utilisation ie too many people on the network BUT if you have the new software (if u have series link +) then it's worth removing the viewing card from the back of the TiVo. It's not reqd anyway and trying home thumbs down thumbs up play play. You'll hear a beep and the screen will go blank. It might be better when it comes back on. But also this
