Tivo box not going past "starting up.." screen, it keeps rebooting.

Hello Virgin team and virgin users,

Since yesterday my Tivo box has developed a fault where its stuck reboot loop.

The "starting up.." screen comes on and then all light on the box flash and the box shuts down and starts again with "staring up" displayed on TV and same cycle over and over again.

I tried all the things suggested by technical team. I have booked for an engineer to come out and have a look at what could be the problem. No Virgin TV for next 10 days :-(.

Most likely out come will be they will need to replace the box.  The frustrating part is this is the second time the box has been replaced and as before we have 250 hours of recording that we will lose.  

Is there anyway of getting a list of files that have been recorded ?

Is there anyway of transferring the recording to a new box ?

That is a long time to wait, they could post one as a quickstart package, worth calling up again
