I decided to join virgin in Sept after I cancelled my sky package. Wish i never did. The 2 tivo boxes I have are so slow I can make a cuppa by the time a recorded program starts. Its pathetic. I have read that an update should have been rolled out in November.. Well the boxes I have haven't changed in speed. Wish i stayed with sky as i most prob would have been offered sky Q which I have read is far far better than the tivo box. Cant wait till I can leave virgin next September to be honest.
What did the Faults team say when you talked to them?
You'll get an immediate response if you give them a ring on 150 (from 08:00 until midnight, every day), or use the Contact Us link at the bottom of this page to initiate a live chat (from 08:00 until 20:00, Monday to Saturday)
This is primarily a user community forum and while the VM forum team do endeavour to read and, where appropriate, respond to every thread, it can take them a few days to wade through the volume of posts. So for an technical issue, which this seems to be, your best line of inquiry is through the Faults team via the methods above.

Not really, the quality of advice on these forums can often be better than that of customer services. I doubt he's got any actual technical fault anyway, his box is probably just slow the same as other tivo boxes, except that some people can live with it, some can't.
Our Tivo is permanently slow. No amount of "fiddling" seems to make it any more responsive. Sound and vision are always out of synchronization, and despite a visit from a Virgin engineer; he too could not improve the situation. I don't want the hassle of changing e.mail addresses, but come 2017 it has to be my New Year Resolution - to get out of Virgin.
