Tivo box as a network connection to TV

Hi Guys’
I have a 500gb Tivo Box down stairs, not 100% sure but I think it’s a new type, 6 months old.
I also have a surveillance system Zmodo H.264 8 PoSE 720p. this box is registered on my network with each camera having it own IP address and connected to a TV up stairs. 2 weeks old.
I don’t want to use the Tivo as an operating device but to connect it via the network so I can click to see whos at the door or in the garden at any time.
We have these things that can supposedly do toast but no one will tell you how?

Re: Tivo box as a network connection to TV

Hi, just came through?
I don't want it to operate or decipher the cameras but to relay the picture to the main tv. Apparently after speaking to Tivo they said it might be possible with a raw TiVo box but virgin have restrictions making it impossible.
Exactly the same as smart metres, they can run and link most things together but they are restricted by programing.
We are suckers for machines that they claim can make toast but when you try to they've restrict the facility

R WELL!
