Tonight while watching TV the volume suddenly changed on its own. Then the channel changed a number of times, and then my Samsung smart tv switched itself off? This continued for a couple of hours. I live on my own so there are no other remotes and I only have the one Tivo box in my lounge.
I know my adjoining neighbour also is a Virgin customer. Is it possible her remote could operate my Tivo and TV?
Having a pixelated picture and/or loss of sound can be a signal issue. It can also be a faulty lead issue. IF the leads in the box have been checked then let me know. I have checked your box remotely and signal wise all looks fine at the moment. Power levels are all within the expected ranges they should be.
If you can let me know if you have checked the lead connecting the TiVo® to the TV that would be awesome. If the issue continues, I will be happy to check this further for you.
