Tive and Red button

Why wont the red button work on any channel on my new Tivo box It just tells me to check my internet connection. Yes my tivo is plugged into my router

I'm sorry to learn about the problems you're experiencing with your TiVo service lately, I've been able to locate your account to run some tests on the set top box from our end for you.

 

We're seeing some errors with the box at the moment which could indicate an issue, I'd like to request we take an even closer look if you're available? I've sent you information regarding this in a private message, which you can view by clicking the envelope on the top right of this page.
